iPrimus have released two new calling plans that allow customers to make unlimited overseas landline phones calls to 50 selected destinations across the globe.

Passport Easy is an add-on to an existing iPrimus phone service and costs $25 per month on top of your $29.95 monthly line rental. We imagine that most serious international callers would spend more than $25 per month on calling cards or calls on their landline, so this represents great value! As with any plan in the market today it will have its limitations, though they seem pretty light on; only calls to landlines are includes, no mobiles and it’s for ‘residential use only’.

The plan has to be activated by signing up and can be added to all the iPrimus Value and Family home phone plans.

The one great feature about this plan is there are no flag-fall charges, so if you’re calling on of the 50 countries, there are really no extra charges. If you’re calling countries outside of the 50 below, then a flag-fall applies.

The 50 countries include:

Argentina, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Guadeloupe, Guam, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK, USA, Vatican City and Venezuela.

iPrimus also released a Lingo VoIP version of the plan for $39.95 per month, which also includes unlimited local & national calls and calls to Australian mobiles. If you’ve got a NakedDSL service or a cheap home phone line rental plan, then the Lingo plan offers some pretty great value and the same 50 international countries apply.

We know this is a broadband comparison site, but with an offer like this, we couldn’t help but post!
