Netspace

Netspace has a well-organised range of plans including broadband, home phone, VoIP and dial-up. Let’s have a look at some of the features of each of these plans.

Broadband

ADSL2+

Netspace has seven plans to choose from. The cheapest plan starts with a 1 GB download limit whilst the highest plan has a limit of 160 GB a month. When bundled with a home phone service rates become cheaper.

The first four plans have limits from 1 to 50 GB a month which accrue 24 hours a day at the same rate.

The top three plans range from 60 GB to 160 GB with the data limits split between off-peak and peak times. The details are as follows:

• For the second and third top plans the download limits are 80 GB and 60 GB respectively. The 60 GB plan is split with 20 GB available in peak times and the remaining 40 GB available in the off-peak times of 12 AM to 7 AM.
• The 80 GB plan allows for 30 GB in peak time and 50 GB between the same off-peak times.
• For the top plan of 160 GB the split is 40 GB peak times and 120 GB during off-peak times of 3 AM to 10 AM.

With all of their plans you have a choice of purchasing a standard, wireless, or all in one modem (includes VoIP capacity). The price you would pay for the modem depends on the length of your contract and the type of modem you choose. Shipping and handling charges may apply from time to time.

ADSL

Where ADSL2+ is not available, standard plans and slightly lower speeds will apply. There are 10 plans to choose from ranging from starter packs of 500 MB, up to a top-level hundred and 160 GB per month. Peak and off-peak rates will apply to the top-level plans similar to the ADSL2+ plans outlined previously.

The same choice of modems applies and the cost will vary with length of contract and type of modem chosen.

Naked ADSL2+

Netspace has five Naked plans ranging from 10 GB a month to 160 GB a month. The two lowest priced plans allow for 10 and 20 GB per month available any time of day. The top three plans use the peak and off-peak combinations outlined previously.

Modem costs are the same as outlined previously.

Naked plans are available on 12 or 24 month contracts except for the top plan which is only available on a two-year contract.

Bundled Plans

When you bundle your broadband plan with a home phone Netspace will give you up to $10 off your monthly broadband plan costs.

Home phone plans are available with three choices, all of which include the line rental per month. You choose the plan that suit you according to the number of calls you think you will make each month. Local calls are untimed however national and international calls are charged by the minute but are capped so you won’t be charged any more than a few dollars per call.
