Exetel and Internode announced last week they had signed agreements with Telstra Wholesale to supply services in Telstra Velocity greenfield estates. Customers in Telstra Velocity estates now have a choice when it comes to subscribing to an internet service.

Internode’s pricing starts from $49.95 per month for a standalone 8Mbps/384Kbps Broadband service. Exetel’s pricing starts at $40 for their basic service. Comparatively, Telstra’s pricing plans start from $29.95, however customers only receive a meagre 2GB of download allowance, compared to Internode’s 30GB and Exetel’s 50GB for their entry level services.

Approximately 120 estates around Australia have access to the Telstra Velocity Fibre service, including some areas in Point Cook VIC, South Brisbane, QLD and Seaside City NSW.
